Description Our client in the telecommunications industry is in need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team on contract basis! In this role, you will oversee complex billing operations, including calculations, reconciliations, and reporting, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in general ledger management and month-end processes. Though the position is starting off as a contract role, there is high probability it will turn contract-to-hire for the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee billing operations, including complex calculations and reporting. • Perform general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Handle inventory, prepaids, and bank and credit card reconciliations. • Prepare and review journal entries, including debits and credits, to support accurate financial records. • Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely completion of related activities. • Generate month-end reports and provide insights to support decision-making. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes. • Stay receptive to learning new systems and industry practices to enhance performance. • Ensure adherence to applicable tax regulations and billing standards. • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all billing functions. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting • Proficiency in handling complex calculations and billing functions. • Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and account reconciliations. • Experience preparing journal entries, including debits and credits. • Familiarity with month-end close processes and reporting. • Background in the telecommunications industry is preferred. • Ability to adapt and learn new systems and procedures. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
