Description We are looking for a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Long Beach, California. This Contract-to-permanent position involves overseeing financial operations, including accounting, payroll, banking, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reports. The role requires close collaboration with leadership and various departments to maintain compliance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date entries in the general ledger to ensure financial records are precise. • Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on a regular basis to maintain financial accuracy. • Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining payroll records. • Prepare and deliver financial reports for management to support decision-making processes. • Verify and process accounts payable transactions, including invoice validation and expense coding. • Accurately post daily deposits and reconcile expense reports to maintain financial integrity. • Manage and maintain vendor files to ensure organized and efficient record-keeping. • Stay current with payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable standards. • Assist in developing and adhering to financial policies and procedures to support organizational compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel. • Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to shifting priorities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities. • Proactive and innovative approach to improving processes and efficiencies. • Familiarity with payroll regulations and experience in multi-state payroll processing.
