Key Responsibilities: + Accounting for 25 commercial rental properties (multi-tenant, multiple bank accounts) + Accounts Payable: High-volume, especially month-end; includes mail receipt, GL coding, PM approval, check processing + Accounts Receivable: Bank deposits, payment application, rent invoicing (Word), light collections + Bank Reconciliations: 20 accounts; simple process + Budget Prep: Drafting budgets for PM review + Financial Statement Support: Prepare materials for CPA; must understand journal entries, debits/credits, assets/liabilities, depreciation + Administrative: Filing, preparing folders for PMs, W9 and COI maintenance, light lease/rent roll updates (Excel), CAM tracking and reconciliations + Software: Excel (formulas, spreadsheet integration); PropertyWare (training provided) Requirements + 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience + Solid grasp of accounting fundamentals: debits/credits, journal entries, trial balance, accruals, depreciation + Proficiency in Excel (formulas, spreadsheet creation) + Property accounting or property management industry experience a plus + No degree required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
