Job Description
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will utilize your professional knowledge and skills to prepare and present financial statements, aiding management in policy formulation and planning. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements for a portfolio of Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and condominiums, showcasing the company's financial transparency.
ResponsibilitiesManage banking and cash operations, including reconciling bank accounts and processing cash transfers as needed.Review investment reports for accuracy.Reconcile homeowner accounts and communicate with the Board of Directors regarding the collection process.Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and account reconciliations.Utilize your knowledge of general accounting and ledgers along with a solid understanding of the accrual method.Prepare internal documents for year-end audits/reviews and tax returns.Perform miscellaneous data entry tasks and other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with financial statements, general ledgers, bank reconciliations, budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.Proficiency in Excel and Excel Pivot Tables.Ability to perform general accounting and journal entries.A minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Outstanding customer service skills, detail orientation, and time management skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.Exceptional organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and other accounting software packages.Experience in Association Software such as Caliber is favorable.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.23 - $24.03/hr.
