Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Green Cove Springs, Florida. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who excels in managing financial operations with precision and efficiency. The role offers an opportunity to work on diverse accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and oversee all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing and payment reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks and Sage MAS 90 software for daily bookkeeping and financial reporting tasks.
• Prepare and manage month-end close procedures, including generating financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles and monitor intercompany transactions.
• Calculate and file sales tax returns in accordance with state regulations.
• Develop and implement Excel formulas for efficient financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address financial discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
• Assist with intercompany accounting tasks, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage MAS 90 accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas for financial analysis.
• Proven ability to handle month-end close procedures and generate accurate financial reports.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks effectively.
