Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage a variety of bookkeeping tasks and client relationships with professionalism and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work primarily in the office, with occasional on-site visits to clients' businesses. Responsibilities: • Perform comprehensive bookkeeping services, including bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll processing, and monthly financial write-ups. • Collaborate effectively with partners, managers, and clients throughout the engagement process to ensure smooth operations. • Prepare basic income tax returns when needed, though this is not a mandatory responsibility. • Manage multiple client accounts independently, maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional service. • Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and reports. • Conduct on-site visits to clients' locations when necessary to address specific bookkeeping needs. • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. • Assist with audits and provide detailed financial analyses as required. • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data. Requirements • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, with a proven track record of success. • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks; familiarity with additional accounting software is a plus. • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex financial scenarios. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and client relationships independently. • Experience in payroll processing and financial reconciliations. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness in all bookkeeping activities.
