Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and in-office, providing flexibility while collaborating closely with clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bookkeeping and a proven ability to manage multiple corporate accounts efficiently. Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. • Maintain accurate and organized financial records to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. • Oversee bookkeeping operations for 10-20 corporate clients monthly, prioritizing deadlines and balancing diverse needs. • Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. • Communicate directly with clients through virtual meetings and occasional in-person sessions to address their bookkeeping needs. • Identify inefficiencies in financial systems and propose solutions to streamline processes. • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transitions between bookkeeping and higher-level financial tasks. • Monitor financial data for inconsistencies and resolve issues promptly. • Support clients and internal teams with accurate and timely reporting and correspondence. Requirements • Minimum of 4-5 years of bookkeeping experience managing accounts for multiple clients with a strong focus on detail and accuracy. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Advanced skills in account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to clients. • High attention to detail and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid setting. • Results-oriented mindset, capable of meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality work consistently. • Passion for bookkeeping as a long-term career path. • Certification such as Certified Public Bookkeeper or similar is preferred, though not required.
