Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description A client in Chandler, AZ, is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of the company’s accounting processes on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will be adept in handling full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, overseeing financial records, and working proficiently with Oracle accounting software. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely. + Handle full-cycle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation. + Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts regularly. + Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. + Execute payroll functions and process employee expense reports. + Manage month-end and year-end closings, preparing all necessary reports and documentation. + Monitor budgets and prepare detailed financial forecasts. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for financial reporting. + Collaborate with external accountants or auditors as needed for tax filing and audits. Requirements Qualifications: + Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in full-charge bookkeeping or similar financial role. + Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). + Software Skills: Proficiency in Oracle accounting software is required. + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, using formulas, and generating reports. + Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. + Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines effectively. + Exceptional communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
