Fuel Systems Technician - F-16 Contract Logistics Support (CLS) – Foreign Military Sales (IRAQ)
**Description** **Major Job Activities** Key Responsibilities: + 20% - Train, Advise, Assist, and Integrate IqAF on F-16 Fuels systems maintenance, focusing on fleet health indicators. + 25% - Support IqAF fuel systems shop through removal, repair, inspection, installation, and modification of aircraft fuel systems. + 15% - Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, in-tank repairs, and operational checkouts. + 10% - Use technical publications, schematics, and specifications; train IqAF in their use. + 10% - Recommend changes to improve maintenance productivity and efficiency. + 10% - Document maintenance actions and support training compliance requirements. + 10% - Collaborate with CLS/IqAF teams and perform other duties as assigned. **Material & Equipment Directly Used** Fuel system tools and equipment; personal protective equipment including respirators; technical publications. **Working Environment** Deployed setting; work in confined spaces and fuel tanks; high operational tempo alongside international teams. **Physical Activities** Work in confined spaces; wearing respirators; manual handling; extended standing and climbing. **Qualifications** Education: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman). Certifications: A&P certification preferred. Experience: 8 to 8 to 10 years (preferred) of experience in F-16 fuel systems maintenance. Other Requirements: Must be skilled on recent F-16 versions; eligible for Secret clearance; U.S. Citizen; worldwide deployability including Middle East; experience with international customers preferred.
