THE ROLE
This position assists the Director of Finance with special reports as needed, including the preparation of various accounting statements, inventory reports, graphs, account reconciliations, financial reports, and annual budget. These responsibilities are performed in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Legends and ASM policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. In the absence of the Director of Finance, assumes the role of supporting the management team in the performance of their duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts for facility financial transactions; generates and inputs journal entries.Establish new client accounts and update existing client accounts in accounts receivable systems.Invoices clients for balances due and follows up on outstanding accounts receivable invoices.Prepares and performs/assists with event settlements; works as a liaison with other facility departments to wrap up event accounting activity.Records deposits on accounts upon receipt.Performs account analysis and records on other general ledger accounts.Prepares and performs account reconciliations, including A/R and A/P control accounts to detail aging and event reconciliations.Prepares and performs bank reconciliations and reconciles cash receipts and disbursements.Prepares monthly event labor allocations, working closely with various departments for input.Prepares and analyzes information for financial statements and reports, including estimated future costs and revenue.Prepare and performs payroll processing through ADP.Performs other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supervise payroll, accounts payable, and other accounting functions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university program.A minimum of three years of experience in accounting or finance.Knowledge of general and cost accounting.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent math skills, with a high aptitude for analysis of numbers and percentages.Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and organize priorities and duties.Ability to interact with all levels of management and a variety of clients.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in support of events.COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook.Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of spreadsheet management.Knowledge of D365 accounting software is preferred.Knowledge of ADP payroll software is preferred.COMPENSATION
