Principal AccountabilitiesMaintaining primary financial data for use in accounting records.Classifying, computing, and recording financial transactions accurately.Verifying the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions.Managing moderately complex accounts or business lines as assigned.
Knowledge & Skill RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.Proficient in PC and financial software applications.
Knowledge & ApplicationDemonstrates technical know-how and a broad understanding of the subject area.Understands diverse and unrelated processes and methods.Capable of assessing unusual circumstances, handling variations in approach, and interpreting incomplete or conflicting data.May hold or be working toward vocational or professional qualifications.
