Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of product and plant system quality through thorough physical and visual inspections. The successful candidate will accurately document and calculate inspection results, take corrective actions when necessary, and report findings to management. This position also involves identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products. All team members are responsible for maintaining safety standards, including personal and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.Accurately document and calculate inspection results.Take corrective actions as needed, including alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes and managing non-conforming products.Report inspection results to management.Perform additional assignments as requested.Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including personal and food safety.

Requirements:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other relevant QA experience required.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills:

Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.Solid math and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret product specifications.Ability to function well under stress and adapt to changing work environments.Flexibility to work in various locations and shifts as needed.

Ability to lift heavy objects (70 lbs. or more).
