Who we are
We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer with a strong background in modern web technologies and experience with Liferay DXP as a significant advantage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging user interfaces and ensuring a seamless user experience across our web applications. You will collaborate closely with back-end developers and designers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
What you'll be doing
Design and implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Utilize modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to build dynamic web applications.Work with Liferay DXP to create and customize themes, layouts, and portlets.Ensure that front-end components integrate smoothly with Liferay DXP back-end services.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces.Work closely with back-end developers to define and consume RESTful APIs.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Implement best practices for front-end performance and accessibility.Conduct thorough testing of applications across various browsers and devices.Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth user experience.Maintain clear documentation of code, processes, and design decisions.Contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
What you'll bring along
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in front-end development.Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with at least one major front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).Familiarity with Liferay DXP is a strong plus.Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).Knowledge of build tools and task runners (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.Liferay certification or relevant training is a plus.Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
