Responsibilities

Implement UI designs and components according to specifications provided by UI/UX designersDevelop responsive and interactive user interfaces using React and TypeScriptCollaborate with senior team members to understand and follow the architectural visionWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeCreate and maintain documentation for components and features you developFollow established testing standards and implement tests for your codeParticipate in code reviews to improve code quality and expand knowledgeLearn and apply best practices in frontend developmentTroubleshoot and resolve UI-related bugs and issues

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in frontend developmentExperience with React and TypeScriptUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principlesFamiliarity with frontend testing approachesUnderstanding of state management conceptsWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologiesGood communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Material UI or similar component librariesFamiliarity with Redux or Redux ToolkitExposure to CSS-in-JS approaches or other CSS librariesUnderstanding of UI/UX design principlesExperience writing technical documentation or component documentationFamiliarity with testing frameworks like Jest and Storybook

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $50,400 - $93,500.
