Front Store Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Front Store Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day execution of customer service, cashier operations, and merchandising. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our store runs smoothly while setting the standard for team performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources:

Ensure cashier and merchandising staff follow all store policies and operating procedures

Provide hands-on training and coaching for new and existing team members

Deliver ongoing guidance, direction, and feedback to support staff development and performance

Loss Prevention:

Maintain strict compliance with all loss prevention protocols

Manage daily cash office operations and reconcile inventory tracking sheets

Oversee cashier audits, PC Optimum program compliance, and ensure accurate handling of transactions

Customer Service:

Ensure all employees present a clean and professional appearance in line with uniform policy

Assist customers with questions regarding product location, rainchecks, and general inquiries

Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally using established guidelines for refunds and exchanges

Promote the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Survey to gather valuable feedback

Merchandising:

Ensure all shelves are organized, clean, and merchandised according to store planograms

Execute product display setups and teardowns as directed by the Assistant Front Store Manager (AFSM) or Front Store Manager (FSM)

Maintain proper product rotation and attention to detail in merchandising standards

General Operations:

Uphold housekeeping and overall store appearance standards

Comply with all Health and Safety requirements and ensure team adherence

Perform administrative, clerical, or banking duties as required

Step in to support cashier or floor duties when necessary

Comply with all store procedures and support the implementation of company policies

Qualifications & Skills

Strong leadership, planning, and judgment abilities

Independent thinker with excellent problem-solving skills

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time efficiently in a busy environment

Customer-focused with the ability to coach others on delivering outstanding service

Experience & Requirements

Previous supervisory or retail experience is preferred

Proficient with computers and POS systems

Solid understanding of retail operations and product knowledge

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
