Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and service-driven Front Office Supervisor to join our team full-time, working 40 hours per week. Located in the heart of Auckland’s vibrant CBD, Avani Auckland Metropolis Residences offers guests stylish serviced apartments with sweeping views of the city and harbour. Set within a beautifully restored heritage building, the property combines historic charm with modern comforts, delivering the perfect blend of convenience, sophistication, and urban living.

About the Role:

Lead and support the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a warm welcome for all guests.Serve as a role model, sharing your expertise and continuously motivating the team to achieve high standards of service.Oversee the completion of daily tasks, ensuring they are executed accurately and in a timely manner.Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience.Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team; prior supervisory experience is highly regarded.Extensive background in the hospitality industry, ideally within a hotel or resort setting, with a thorough understanding of guest service standards and operationsExceptional customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a consistently positive and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situationsStrong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of dutiesImpeccable professional presentation, reflecting the high standards of the organisationFlexibility to work weekends and adjust to varying schedules, as required by the operational needs of the business.
