The Four Seasons Resort Maldives is currently looking for a Front Office Receptionist - Japanese Language Speaker who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating memorable guest experiences. Front Office Receptionist - Japanese Language Speaker is part of a diverse and dynamic team which provides award winning service to our valued guests. This position reports to the Front Desk Manager.

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort.

Special Requirements

Has 1 - 2  years of relevant experience in 5* Hotels or ResortsPassed O-levels; Technical education in Hospitality is preferredPossesses excellent English, math and psychometric abilitiesPossesses finesse and personal flair; knowledge in a relevant foreign language is preferredPossesses aptitude and upward mobility

Major Responsibilities

General

Is competent in the use of the property management system; collects, retrieves and accurately updates relevant data; follows impeccable telephone etiquetteEnsures the work area is ready for service; assists in supplies requisitions according to established proceduresProvides guests with insightful recommendations on the area's cultural, shopping and dining & entertainment establishments; gives interesting and vivid descriptions in a concise and appropriate manner; creates highly personalized guest experiencesIs proficient at handling travel arrangements including issuing airtickets/boarding passes and amending travel itineraries; books hotel and transportation arrangmentsStrictly complies with hotel's cash handling policies and proceduresIs highly sensitive to guests preferences and special requests; offers meaningful alternatives when special requests cannot be met
