The McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) assembles and tests some of the most advanced Electro-Optical Infrared products in the world. Manufacturing Supervisors supervise between 10 and 20 assembly operators and test technicians and perform a variety of tasks in guiding the team to assemble and test these products to deliver the highest standard of quality equipment into the hands of the warfighter. Supervisors develop and maintain performance metrics for their teams and ensure that their production lines meet the production schedule and cost proposed to their customers.
**Responsibilities to Anticipate:**
+ Use your teaming and individual developmental skills (Coaching for Success)
+ Create solutions to achieve goals of improved efficiency and lower assembly costs
+ Implementing continuous improvement methods utilizing lean manufacturing principles and motivate your team’s involvement in these improvements.
+ Must be able to work occasional overtime during the week or weekends to support customer needs
+ This position is an onsite, 2nd shift role. Relocation is unavailable.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience **and** a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
+ Relevant experience is working in a manufacturing / factory as a machinist, operator or test technician
+ Minimum of 1 year of direct leadership experience
+ Experience with information technology systems (SAP)
+ Experience with Microsoft Office / Outlook (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or SharePoint)
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Experience of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and FOD reduction/prevention methods
+ Experience working in an engineering environment and reading engineering drawings
+ Ability to think strategically and determine long-term impact of decisions
+ Ability to multitask multiple priorities with minimal supervision
+ Ability to develop creative solutions to achieve goals of improved efficiency and lower assembly costs

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
