Front-End Software Developer - Mid-Level

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As a Front-End Software Developer Level 1 at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be creating and enhancing a high-visibility, collaborative web application used in the day-to-day mission by the customer as well as across the broader Intelligence Community (IC) and other partners. Your work will enable data to be updated and shared in real-time that will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

Provide Front-End software development and technical services to support the Analytic and Engagement Applications (AEA) organizationCollaborate with other software development teams developing web-based user interface applications promoting service interoperability, integration, and reusePerform code reviewsDebug existing software and correcting defectsWrite & review software system documentation

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:  

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Eleven (11) years total of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor’s degree. 

Required Qualifications: ​

TS/SCI with Polygraph ClearanceDeveloping applications using AngularJS / React / Vue (other JS frameworks)Developing Java Web or NodeJS applicationsExperience using and implementing CSSDeveloping or integrating with RESTful Services

Desired Qualifications: ​

Experience working with querying or building relational or non-relational databases (i.e., MongoDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL).Experience building user-facing web applications in JavaScript frameworks using React, Vite, ReduxExperience with dockerExperience using and implementing SCSS and Tailwind CSSExperience using web socketsExperience with AWSExperience with generating technical documentationExperience working in an Agile software development environmentDeveloping applications that are 508 compliantExperience managing software code using GitLab (specifically GitLab CI/CD)Experience with Jira and Confluence

Telework/Remote Availability:  Hybrid work authorized (minimum 2-3 days onsite)

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$122,000- $145,000
