ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Sitecore Development Manager, this role will primarily involve hands-on development of front-end solutions in React, Next.js to go hand-in hand with Sitecore XM Cloud and in-depth of understanding of the best practices in developing and enhancing the front-end experience of the websites using Sitecore as a CMS. The Ideal candidate will be charged with front end ownership and strong partnership with Product Owners, Product Designers, Application Development teams, customers, internal Business Partner Management and PMO functions. They will bring expertise in nurturing and growing a high performing team and a track record of success in building and delivering products. They must possess good knowledge in React, Next.js etc., and web application development with a CMS preferably Sitecore. Additionally, being a key team member must follow all the process and standards in a fast-paced agile environment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate within a cross-functional product team to develop and deploy production-quality code.Build reusable libraries and software components to accelerate the deliveryWork closely with Sitecore Development Manager, other Sitecore developers, full stack engineers, contractors from Vendor teams, Product owners, content authors, analysts and deliver quality technical solutions.Develop and champion modern software development best practices and concepts to a technical audience and business stakeholdersTake the lead in designing, developing, and documenting full-stack application software; evaluating third-party software products for integration as neededProvide timely and accurate updates to the stakeholders.Participate in the full software development life cycle including architecture design, writing documentation and unit/integration tests, identifying issues and resolution, writing clean code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring other EngineersScope, architect, design, develop, build, and release robust and scalable applications:Ability to explain and discuss technical concepts and methodologies with colleagues and clients from another disciplineStay on top of technological advancements in Sitecore and the possible benefits that it can provide to Hub.Be a positive influence and a contributing team member.Participate in Agile ceremonies and other functional team meetings.Provide accurate estimates for any future projects or requirements based on high level requirements.Ensures all Key deliverables are done in a timely manner with maximum quality.Understands the point of the exercise and feels comfortable making decisions and asking questions that advocate for the value – driving solutions.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience.Minimum 10-12 years of application Development experience.2+ years serving as team lead (or equivalent)Demonstrated understanding of front-end web development languages and tools which include the following: ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, typescript, Tailwind CSS etc.Strong computer science fundamentals such as automated testing, object-oriented programming, performance complexity, and implications of software architecture on performanceWell versed in front end design and architecture trade offsExperience working as Front-End developer for Sitecore’s headless offerings like XM Cloud, Sitecore hybrid headless Jss.Expertise in handling GraphQL Queries to support Headless Development.Expertise in component development and integration with a CMS preferably SitecoreDeveloped React WebApps for front-end Headless Sitecore CMS.Solid understanding of front-end design patterns (SPA, MVVM).Experienced in working on a system hosted in a PaaS set-up.Experience in integrating Rest API/ SOAP etc.,Experience working in an Agile scrum teamStrong interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of SDLC; development and testing methodologiesAble to work harmoniously and effectively with othersAbility to adapt to quickly changing business conditions.Nice to Have:

The expected salary range for this position is $130K to $160K CAD and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
