Front End Engineer (Senior Level)
**CTG is seeking to fill a Front End Engineer (Senior Level) opening for our client.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** Ongoing Contract **Duties:** + Design, develop, and maintain complex frontend applications using modern frameworks and libraries. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and optimize user interfaces. + Implement client-side state management, ensuring efficient and maintainable code. + Build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support application features. + Ensure high standards of web security, accessibility, and performance. + Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. + Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Skills:** + Deep expertise in **TypeScript** and modern **JavaScript (ES6+)** . + Strong hands-on experience with **Next.js** and **React** . + Proficient in client-side state management patterns and libraries (e.g., **React Query, Zustand, Redux Toolkit** ). + Experience with frontend tooling ( **Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn** ) and testing frameworks ( **Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright** ). + Familiarity with **Docker** for local development and deployment. + Strong understanding of **HTML5, CSS3** , responsive design, and web security practices (WAF, CORS, Auth). + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in an Agile team environment. **Good to Have:** + Experience with **Node.js** for backend-for-frontend (BFF) or API development. + Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools ( **Sentry, Datadog, New Relic** ). + Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** (GitHub Actions, Jenkins). + Background in **healthcare, veterinary, or other regulated industries** . + Focus on **web performance optimization** and **accessibility (a11y)** standards. **Experience:** + 5+ years of professional frontend software development experience. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
