Front End Engineer II, Life Sciences Applied AI
Amazon.com
Hodgkin is a new end-user application that helps life sciences researchers design computer-guided antibodies. Our long-term vision is a single business application that provides multiple high-value solutions for research problems in Life Sciences (e.g., pharma, biotechs, and techbio startups). Our first module within Hodgkin targets computer-guided antibody design. We are helping to change the world!
We launched our private preview in May and we're now working directly with customers to evolve the application and add even more high-impact features. We strive to continue to innovate while moving fast and solving some cool, complex problems. We are a small but nimble team and we enjoy what we do!
In this role, you'll be designing and developing the front end, user interface, and gateway. You will be responsible for the React front end and obsessing over the customer experience. You should have experience working on a team focused on the user experience (on/off-console), cloudscape, building APIs, and simplifying users' interactions.
You'll partner with the backend team to deliver amazing customer features. We're part of an S-team goal - so this is your chance to help build a new, exciting application.
We are looking for someone with a biological science background (or computational biology) - someone who knows the difference between antibody and antigen. You don't have to know a ton of science - but a willingness to learn (and be curious) is important.
