Job Title: Front-End Application Developer
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Front-End Application Developer to support the development of a new suite of Windows-based applications for our internal simulation software project. This project supports nuclear power plant simulators, with over 100 reactors, 80% of which utilize advanced technology. You will work closely with our lead developer and a dedicated back-end developer to bring prototype designs to life, creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces. The role is focused on building modern front-end applications using Svelte, Tailwind CSS, and Tauri in a Windows environment.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the lead developer and back-end developer to create user-friendly interfaces.Develop modern front-end applications using Svelte, Tailwind CSS, and Tauri.Ensure applications are intuitive and responsive.Work within a Windows development environment using Visual Studio or VS Code.Essential Skills3–5 years of professional experience in front-end application development.Proficiency with Svelte and Tailwind CSS.Experience in building desktop applications using Tauri.Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.Comfortable working in a Windows environment.Experience with Visual Studio and/or VS Code.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in simulation software or industrial applications.Familiarity with modern databases (not required but helpful).Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional development team.Work Environment

This is an 8-5 Monday to Friday on-site position in Jacksonville, FL. The role is initially a contract position through January 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $73.00/hr.
