Front Desk Coordinator
Description We are looking for a skilled Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a seamless experience through attentive and courteous service. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a welcoming and attentive atmosphere. • Provide concierge-level services by assisting guests with inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources. • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, efficiently handling inbound calls and transferring them to the correct departments. • Maintain an organized and clean reception area to uphold company standards. • Coordinate with internal staff to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency. • Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed to support the team. • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries with accuracy and timeliness. • Monitor and manage supplies for the front desk to ensure availability at all times. • Troubleshoot basic issues related to the phone system or office equipment when required. Requirements • Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles, preferably in high-traffic environments. • Strong proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focused and attentive demeanor. • Ability to handle inbound calls efficiently while multitasking other responsibilities. • Familiarity with concierge services and customer support. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and adapting to changing priorities. • Proficiency in basic office equipment and software applications.
