Front Desk Coordinator
Description Robert Half is seeking a personable and organized Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our client’s office. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience for everyone who enters the organization’s premises. The Front Desk Coordinator will also play a critical role in managing the office’s front desk operations, maintaining a professional environment, and assisting with administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities + Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff with a professional and friendly demeanor. + Answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate staff members while maintaining professionalism on the phone. + Manage the office’s front desk operations, including handling mail, deliveries, and maintaining the office’s general appearance. + Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference rooms as needed. + Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies. + Handle inquiries from visitors, clients, or staff and direct them to the appropriate resources when needed. + Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information related to the office or its personnel. + Assist in special projects or other tasks delegated by management. Requirements + 1-2+ years of experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles. + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail. + Proficiency with office technologies, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and phone systems. + Professional appearance and demeanour with excellent customer service skills. + Ability to work independently and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment. + High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant certifications are a plus.
