Description
We are looking for a dedicated Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and callers, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and worked in a Healthcare facility.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and detail-oriented first impression.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, including answering and directing inbound calls promptly.
• Provide concierge-level services to visitors and staff, addressing inquiries and needs effectively.
• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handle receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and coordinating front desk activities.
• Utilize basic medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure the front desk area remains organized and presentable at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to support daily administrative operations.
• Monitor and manage switchboard operations for 1-10 phone lines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or receptionist role, in a healthcare facility.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and switchboard operations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic medical terminology.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain a focused and detail-oriented demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in office software and administrative tools.
