The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive, high-energy Front Desk Associate to join our New York office. You’ll be sharing the front desk space with another associate, so strong teamwork and communication are essential. As the face of Datadog for visitors and employees, you will create a welcoming environment and support a variety of operational tasks. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our expanding company culture. We are looking for a high-energy, “get it done” person who wants to learn and grow with the company as we rapidly expand. This is a five day a week, in person position.

What You’ll Do:

Be a Brand Ambassador for the office, leaving employees, visitors and potential candidates with a positive impression of Datadog Collaborate closely with your front desk partner to manage and maintain a smoothly running reception area Maintain the overall cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic of the reception and mailroom areas Own day-to-day front desk operations including coordinating with building security for badge management and access Own the reception area and one floor of the building, conducting regular walkthroughs to ensure both spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times Manage vendor relationships, coordinating certificates of insurance and sourcing new partners as needed Assist in planning and executing monthly office social events, contributing creative ideas and support Conduct research for various projects and events, providing recommendations to the team Audit, order, and maintain office supplies with attention to budgeting and prioritization Oversee shipping and receiving processes efficiently and accurately Act as the primary delegator for all incoming requests through our ticketing system, ensuring timely assignment to the appropriate team member Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors, responding promptly to inquiries and requests

Who You Are:

1-3 years of administrative or office experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, positive demeanor Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing needs Proven team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and shares responsibilities openly Calm and resourceful problem solver who can handle pressure with professionalism High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
