Position Title Front Desk Assistant Student Status Work Study Required- You are required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Work Location Springfield Campus Department Enrollment Services Hiring Range $13.75 Sponsorship Information Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Department/Employer Operating Hours Monday through Friday How many hours per week are required? 8-10 hours Description of Primary Duties The front desk assistant helps with greeting guests, answering phone, sorting incoming mail and various clerical tasks as assigned. The student will be trained in the areas of professional phone protocols, customer service and basics of the University’s information system. Hours available Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm. No previous office experience is required, however, friendliness, strong communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and sensitivity to confidentiality is a must. Work study required.

*Positions are offered on a semester-by-semester basis. Job performance at an acceptable level is required for continued employment.
