Front Desk Agent

About the role:

The Front Desk Agent is an important role in the Front Office Team, with the primary responsibility of ensuring a smooth and seamless arrival and departure experience for guests. This includes welcoming and registering guest, securing method of payment and checking the guest out while preparing their bill and gathering feedback. Front Desk Agents also respond to guest need and requests with personalized service to enhance the guest experience and satisfaction.

The position reports to Front Office Manager as well as Director of Rooms and Residences.

What you will do:

Welcome and register the resort guests, explain accommodation with an emphasis on enhancing recognition and fulfilling guest’s request, following special handling instructions and adhering to the established finance and credit policies and procedure.Liaise with Concierge, Guest Service and Bellman Team to ensure a smooth and seamless arrival and departure experience.Liaise with Food & Beverage and Housekeeping team on preparing welcome drinks, cold towels and garland. Follow up on room status and amenities setup for arrival.Escort guests to their rooms, provide a resort orientation while gathering guest essentials and preferences. Effectively communicate all details to relevant department of seamless execution.Assist guest in all inquiries in connection with resort services. Is fully knowledgeable of all resort facilities, operations hours, key contact personnel, activities schedule, the island’s offering including restaurants, sightseeing opportunities, market, sports and special events as well as fire, safety and emergency procedure.Ensure a seamless departure by preparing departure letters, review of guest account and benefits and conducting check out in accordance with resort procedure.Handle financial transaction including foreign currency exchange, post charges and reconciling all transaction at the end of shift. Maintain a balanced cash bank assigned by the resort. Provide room quotes and be familiar with the room types, rates and availability for current and future dates. Accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of reservation staff.Support other areas of the Front Office, such as Guest Services, Concierge, Living Room coverage and Communications, especially during peak periods.Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.Resolve guest complaints and find opportunities to recognize and personalize the service experience for all guests.

What you bring:

Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of ThailandProven experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills and a strong team player.Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.Warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers.Commitment to upholding Four Seasons Service and Culture standards.Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.Ability to function effectively in an unsupervised environment.

This is a full-time positionThe working hours will primarily be early morning and days, during the weekdays and weekends.
