Job Title: Front Desk Administrative Assistant - Eugene, OR

Job Description

The role of Front Desk Administrative Assistant is integral in managing the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally, fostering a professional environment and culture. This position is responsible for serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately. You will answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed, and receive and sort daily mail, shipments, and courier deliveries. Maintaining security by following procedures and controlling access is a key part of this role, along with performing other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, and scanning. The assistant coordinates overall administrative activities for the office, manages the Document Control Program, and maintains the program log for vendors and guests. Additionally, responsibilities include office equipment maintenance, office layout arrangement, and housekeeping of office facilities, while providing administrative assistance to the Human Resource, Warehouse, and other related departments.

This position operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The working hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eugene, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
