Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Counter Clerk, Senior to join our team in Hollywood, Florida. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent conversion, offering free parking and competitive benefits upon transition. The role involves handling sensitive financial transactions, performing filing tasks, and maintaining a courteous and focused demeanor while assisting customers. Responsibilities: • Handle cash transactions, including high-dollar court fees, with accuracy and attention to detail. • Process and apply civil record fees in compliance with accounting procedures. • Prepare and organize court civil records to ensure proper filing and avoid errors. • Perform detailed filing tasks to maintain the integrity of legal documents. • Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance at the front counter. • Utilize accounting software systems for billing and fee processing. • Ensure all documentation is filed correctly to prevent legal discrepancies. • Maintain a courteous and detail-oriented demeanor while adhering to workplace standards. • Assist in answering inbound calls and addressing client needs effectively. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations at the counter. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent is required. • Proficiency in accounting software systems and computerized billing. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate filing and fee processing. • Demonstrated experience in cash handling, particularly with high-dollar amounts. • Ability to perform accounting functions and court filings with precision. • All candidates are required to undergo necessary screenings as part of the hiring process. • Adherence to workplace policies and maintaining a detail-oriented appearance. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
