Overview If you're looking for a challenging position with one of the world's leading snack food companies, here's your chance to join our team as a Production Scheduler with our Taber Facility. This position would report to the Site Planner and will be required to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and weekends as required. The position is based out of the Taber facility but will require some days of work in Lethbridge. Responsibilities Planning and scheduling workflow for manufacturing department according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Developing site production schedules including daily Line Schedules and weekly Master Production Schedules. Ensuring that schedules are executable by the manufacturing team and are structured to help attain pre-determined attainment metric expectations. Expediting operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Ensuring effective communication between all departments regarding expectations and requirements of the production schedule. Validating inventory data between systems and monitoring levels to action against fill-rate risk. Verifying attainment levels and scheduled cases against attainment expectations. Participating in the Daily Service Meeting, HUB, Product Supply Team, and other meetings as required. Generating information for and compiling weekly data reports. Completing Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety Pre Requisite Programs (PRP/oPRP) that is required for the applicable area. Tracking, Planning and coordinating of Taber Raw Materials (Web and Seasoning). Other Duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. High degree of organization and prioritization skills, and attention to detail. Able to maintain professional disposition even when faced with difficult situations. Prior experience with MS Excel/Word and SAP. Experience in a production scheduling environment is considered an asset. Prior experience as a Packaging Machine Operator is considered an asset.
