Responsible for all customer freight planning and execution. Working throughout the value chain you will support Customer Service with all freight based enquiries at quote stage, right through to the scheduling of customer deliveries based on completed orders from our Production facilities. + Freight quoting + Tracking and tracing + Communicate and operate day to day functions effectively to build strong relationships with Clients, Vendors, Suppliers, etc. with ability to manage within Rhythm/TMS system. + Communicate effectively to build strong working relationships with Carriers and help support Carrier development opportunities and projects with ability to manage within Rhythm/TMS system. + Spot quoting FTL & LTL transactional opportunities and executing accepted loads. + Assist in pricing required transportation modes for large scale RFP opportunities. + Help Support Other Special Projects developed within the organization and department Position Requirements Education and/or Experience + High School diploma or equivalent required. 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required. + Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures and complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries. Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with customers and coworkers verbally and through written communications. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations– Valid driver’s license for attainment of company forklift license.
