Join our FOX Sports Systems Engineering - Project Management Team as an exceptional Freelance Technical Project Manager. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a strong background in technology and project management to lead and execute complex projects efficiently.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, communication, issue resolution, change management, vendor management, risk management, resource management, and equipment orderingWork alongside the technical lead for each projectDevelop and implement project plans for multiple complex projects simultaneouslyCollaborate with stakeholders to refine project scopes, requirements, design, build, and testing/commissioning to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliveryLead cross-functional meetings with internal and external teams, including stakeholders, engineering, designers, management, vendors, and facilitiesEffectively convey project information to stakeholders, team members, and managementEnsure timely delivery, invoice payments, and reconciliation with the finance systemManage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closureTimely escalation and reporting of issues, risks, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID)Regularly update management on project and task status
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
5+ years in a technical project management role leading complex projects or a related college degreeFamiliarity with various project management methodologiesStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiencesExceptional project leadership, presentation skills, and meeting facilitation with senior management and stakeholdersDetail-oriented, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to challengesStrong emotional intelligence and ability to manage cross-functional teamsProactive in finding solutions and resolving roadblocksAbility to comprehend technical and design documentsCapacity to manage high-pressure situations and frequent changesBig-picture thinking and strategic visionStrong integrity, professionalism, and a drive for successSkilled in Microsoft Outlook/Office, Zoom, Smartsheet, OKTA, Google Suite, Slack, Box, and scheduling toolsModerate physical health suitable for navigating construction sites safely

BS degree or equivalentPMP, MBA, or CSMExperience with broadcast systems, consulting, or client services is advantageous but not mandatory

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $54.57-60.10 per hour.
