Free People is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst. As Sr. Finance Analyst, you will be a key, supportive member of the Free People & FP Movement Brand Finance and team. The role reports to the Director of FP&A. This position will work closely with key brand business partners and various shared service team members. Key responsibilities focused on real estate function for Free People and FP Movement store including; store pipeline analysis, site reviews, store proforma preparation, store reporting and analytics and ongoing other support of ad hoc brand projects

Role Responsibilities Responsible for preparing and evaluating new store site reviews and proformas. Evaluate lease economics and store KPIs to inform store proforma modeling scenarios for new locations, relocations and expansions, and lease renewalsActively manage process flow of store pipeline review and approvals with cross-functional partners to ensure preojects are moving forward to meet deadlinesSupport store market planning review for continued pipeline development including Free People, FP Movement and International Free People locations for annual budget planning and LRP planningPartner with FP Finance team members to prepare and evaluate store 4wall reporting inputs for proforma modeling; including margin, payroll, and expense estimatesResponsible for the accurate preparation of materials for use and distribution among brand partners and leadership teamParticipate in ad hoc analysis for Store Channel key intiaitieves and develop process improvements to ensure timely and accurate completion & communication of information 

 

Role Qualifications 3-4 years of work experience, preferably in finance or business analysis, with a strong knowledge of financial modeling Retail real estate or apparel industry experience preferredWorking knowledge of financial systems, specifically Hyperion, Oracle, & MicroStrategy preferred. Proven ability to utilize and quickly adapt to new software and reporting systemsStrong sense of accountability, ownership and proactive problem-solvingExcellent organization, time management and communication skillsDemonstrate ability to self-manage daily schedule to meet deadlines with accurate informationAbility to manage large data sets with advanced excel skills to analyze and summarize information The Perks
