Free People Movement is looking for a passionate and analytical Wholesale Planner to fuel growth across our wholesale business. In this dynamic role, you’ll develop strategic merchandise plans that maximize sales, margin, and inventory turn. You’ll ensure our retail partners are set up for success by aligning product strategies with performance goals and market opportunities. You’ll blend data-driven insights with brand intuition to shape assortments that inspire movement and drive performance.

  

Role Responsibilities Ensuring the success of one or more departments by meeting or exceeding sales and margin and minimizing closeout ratePartnering with the merchants to monitor and evaluate sales of current styles on a weekly basis Collaborating with planning, merchant, and sales teams to identify any business opportunitiesMaximizing opportunities thru key item programsClearly communicating and providing reporting and analysis to highlight important trends and/or support key initiativesUtilizing the open-to-buy (OTB) to drive businessPartnering with sales to understand our accountsBuilding strong partnerships thru constant communication and collaboration with merchant teamTaking trend and merchant direction and interpreting it into a profitable strategy Role Qualifications 3+ years of merchandise planning experience, ideally in fashion or retailStrong financial and analytical skillsAdvanced Excel proficiency Results-driven with a proactive, solution-oriented approachCreative problem solver/ “outside the box” thinkerExcellent communicator and collaborative team playerHighly organized, detail-focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
