Upon successful completion of the DCW training program, an offer of employment may be extended. **We are currently offering training for individuals** **to care for our clients in the surrounding areas** : + Hummelstown + Hershey + York **What You Will Learn** + Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc + Home Management Tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc + Meal preparation and feeding + Range of motion/exercises + Assisting with ambulation and transfers (use of mechanical lifting devices) + Medication reminders **What You will Do as a Direct Care Worker (DCW)** As a vital member of the health care team, you will follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care, household support, and companion care services.
