What you’ll do:
Oversee and improve fraud performance across Property Claims, including suppliers.
Engage with operations, leaders, and frontline teams using data and reporting.
Influence analytics model rules and capabilities.
Drive fraud performance through best practices and collaboration with the Claims Centre of Excellence.
Coordinate internal and market anti-fraud strategies.
Act as a subject matter expert in fraud and property claims.
Conduct cause-of-loss reviews and quality assurance to identify fraud risks and team gaps.
Collaborate with the Property leaders and quality assurance team to build a fraud prevention plan to increase fraud detection.
Deliver impactful presentations to adjusters, leadership and stakeholders.
Design and implement learning and development programs for Property adjusters.
Coach and mentor adjusters to build fraud detection and prevention capabilities.
Ensure quality assurance standards are met through regular reviews and feedback.
Provide ongoing technical expertise, including coaching and mentoring on detection techniques
Identify fraud and FC detection gaps in existing processes and advance solutions
What you'll bring:
Minimum 6 years’ experience in an investigative field of work
5+ years in Claims/Insurance with strong Property knowledge. CIP designation or working towards CIP.
Proven experience in coaching, training delivery, and quality assurance
Preferred professional qualification in fraud investigation, criminology or financial crime. ACFE, ACAMS etc.
Strong knowledge of fraud detection
Solid project coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Confident communicator and presenter, with strong relationship-building abilities
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance
Comfortable making objective decisions in complex or ambiguous situations
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Qlik
Able to turn data into actionable insights to drive performance
Adaptable, innovative, and open to change
Investigative experience and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Bilingualism is an asset
