The Decision Integrity Team within the DoorDash Fraud Insights department stands at the forefront of ensuring the security and integrity of our platform. As a member of this team, you'll play a pivotal role in proactively identifying and thwarting potential instances of fraud through case decision accuracy analysis. About the Role

As a top-tier operator, the Fraud Insights Analyst serves as the primary investigator within the team. They possess proficiency in various processes and extensive knowledge of fraud behaviors. Responsibilities entail conducting in-depth investigations into fraud cases and providing detailed findings to facilitate long-term fraud reduction efforts. Moreover, the role is instrumental in maintaining a delicate balance between optimizing the experience for our Consumers, Dashers, and Merchants, and combating fraudulent activities effectively. Reporting directly to the Fraud Operations Associate Manager, the Analyst works closely with our S&O partners to fulfill project and analytic needs.

This position requires an in-office presence at the DoorDash corporate office in Tempe and the employee must live within a commutable 50 miles from the office. This role will be assigned a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. These schedules will be adjusted periodically to meet the needs of our business.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Investigation: Conduct detailed investigations on flagged transactions or accounts to determine if fraud has occurred. This may involve reviewing account histories, transaction logs, and communication records. Fraud Prevention: Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize the occurrence of fraudulent activities. Data Analysis: Analyze data and perform statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent behavior. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on fraud trends, incidents, and mitigation strategies to be presented to management and stakeholders. Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees about fraud risks, prevention techniques, and reporting procedures. We're excited about you because... 3+ years experience in fraud, finance, or other professional operational roles Experience managing multiple, concurrent work streams, with an emphasis for details Google suite intermediate proficiency (sheets, docs, gmail) You have experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Confluence  Adept technical ability. You are comfortable navigating multiple screens, using multiple systems, and creating your own shortcuts Prior use of data analysis, in an operations setting You’re collaborative and will quickly develop productive relationships within your team and internal stakeholders  You’re action-oriented, never letting great be the enemy of the good; you stay oriented to the goal you’re trying to achieve and act with urgency to achieve it, as time management skills is a must Experience with providing coaching and feedback on topics, pull data and conduct analysis for others to leverage   You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You find the right balance of data and common sense to problem solve, and think creatively when we have incomplete information.
