As the Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you’ll support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping and laundry operations. You’ll lead with warmth, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering voco’s unique style of hospitality—marked by comfort, charm, and genuine care. **Your day to day** + **Train, coach, and supervise housekeeping and laundry teams to uphold the brand’s quality and service standards.** + **Step into the Executive Housekeeper’s role when necessary.** + **Oversee daily housekeeping workflows, including inventory of supplies, linen, and equipment.** + **Collaborate in preparing department budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize cost efficiency. Guest Experience & Special Requests.** + **Manage guest-specific needs—especially for VIPs and repeat visitors—to ensure memorable and seamless stays.** + **Support deep-cleaning initiatives and pitch in during peak demand to maintain service quality.** + **Ensure adherence to health, safety, and housekeeping policies, including sustainability practices like waste reduction.** + **Educate team members about all relevant operational and environmental standards.** **What we need from you** **Requirements & Qualifications** + **Education** + **A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or a related field.** + **Experience** + **Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in housekeeping or catering operations.** + **Proven supervisory experience, preferably in luxury or upscale hotel environments.** + **Skills & Competencies** + **Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities to foster team cohesion and guest satisfaction.** + **Proficiency with business tools and systems (e.g., PMS, MS Office).** + **Attention to detail, high grooming standards, flexibility, and a service-centered mindset.** + **Familiarity with health, hygiene, and safety standards in hospitality operations.** + **Language & Local Requirements** + **Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is advantageous.** **What we offer** **We give our people everything they need to succeed.
