Our team is seeking an expert in Sales Analysis who can work together with Sales and Service leads for Business Planning, Forecasts, Budget Planning. As a member of our Japan Finance team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative financial projects. You will also have the chance to work alongside our passionate and knowledgeable team of experts, collaborating with our team leaders to provide financial information and insights to help business decision-making. Financial Planning and Analysis Planning and analysis tasks: Work together with Sales and Service leads for business Planning, Forecasts, Budget Planning, etc. Period closing activities, together with the accounting function, including variance and margin analysis, management reporting preparation, and explanations. Drive standardization and simplification of analysis processes to make forecast more reliable and visible. Play an active role in the continuous development of the local FP&A function. Monitor projects from an accounting perspective and validate progress and revenue recognition. Assure review and validation of technology service delivery allocations. Review and validate rate cards and any agreements of cross-regional resource allocation. Review and analyses partner incentives. Support team in any ad-hoc projects. Finance team tasks: Work with and support team members: invoice issue, monthly closing, yearly closing, audit, purchase reconciliation. What we need to see from you Qualifications Full professional proficiency in Japanese and advanced to proficient English skills. Relevant work experience in Japan Around 5+ years of FP&A experience at a global company. Knowledge of basic accounting, preferably IFRS. Completed Accounting or Business Economics-related education at a Bachelor's level or above. Having completed a professional financial education. Experience with managing projects & processes cross-functionally, working closely together with colleagues in a cross-functional and multi-cultural setting. Well-developed IT skills and ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement. Advanced-level Excel skill is a must. Audit experience is preferable. Competency Requirements Positive, with a can-do attitude, but realistic and not afraid to say no. Attention to details, analytical, meticulous and problem-solving skills.
