As a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst within the Technology Executive Decision Support team, you will play a critical role in delivering insightful analysis and strategic recommendations regarding the Citi's financial performance, specifically within the Technology and Data segment. This intermediate-level position requires a strong foundation in financial analysis principles and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhanced reporting. The primary objective is to leverage a deep understanding of financial data to generate actionable reports, develop innovative analytical techniques, and optimize workflows, ultimately contributing to informed decision-making by senior management.

Responsibilities:

Provide financial analysis and insights to support key decision-making processes across Technology and Data segment and within its individual businesses.Monitor actual financial performance and trends against forecasts, outlooks, and plansEnable informed decision making by stakeholders through highlighting variances and adding insights, providing insightful commentary on KPIs and underlying drivers.Collaborate effectively within Technology FP&A team, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial objectives and business initiatives.Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting accuracy.Support senior management in reviewing financial performance and providing data-driven recommendations.Execution and alignment of data in financial systems. Generate flash results/highlights for Executive Management reports.Execute time-critical activities for client facing Financial Planning and Analysis teams.Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.  Working knowledge of financial systems like Ruby/FRM/Tableau/COGNOS.Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience working with a variety of financial platformsProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsDemonstrated presentation skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
