The scope of the FP&A team is for the majority of the Managed & Leased Hotels in the in the UK & Ireland, and this role will have responsibility for developing new tools and reviewing specific revenue and/ or cost lines for these Hotels.
\nThe role will be part of a team of 8 people and is a key role in the UK Operations Finance team, reporting directly into the Financial Planning & Analysis Director, and will have ownership of delivering consistent and accurate performance analysis and forecasts to improve business decisions.
\nThe role will be responsible for driving standardisation and excellence in financial planning (including forecasting and budgeting) and analysis; for the revenue, costs and hotels within the role’s remit. This will be achieved by working with fellow FP&A Managers to create, standardise and manage tools, reports and analysis centrally. The role will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration across the forecasting and reporting process including Accounting & Control, Hotel Operations, Revenue Management, Central Support Functions and Commercial Finance.
\nThe role holder must be comfortable influencing at Exec level and combine the ability to think strategically with a positive hands-on attitude. Key stakeholders will include Accounting & Control team, Commercial Finance Directors, UK&I Hotel Exec Leadership, Hotel Commercial Leadership, Hotel General Managers, Owners, Asset Managers, Corporate Functional Leads.
\nThe role will also be responsible for driving a high performing team culture.

What are we looking for?
\n\nAdvance proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, nested formulars, VBA).\nAbility to develop Power BI dashboards.\n3+ years relevant and progressive work experience in Accounting or Finance.\nHotel Finance Experience is preferred\nAbility to analyse large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections.\nStrong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate.\nAbility to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfil responsibilities.\nAbility to manage and develop staff.\nStrong communication and negotiation skills (all levels of management and external customers).\n\n\n\n
