Job DescriptionThis role is designed for a finance professional who thrives on working closely with commercial, operational, and corporate teams to drive business performance, while also possessing a solid understanding of local financial compliance and control processes
Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, this role will serve as the finance business partner for the local site, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and business case development. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Controller Manager in the Shared Service Center (SSC) to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and communication with local government institutions
Key Responsibilities:
FP&A & Business Partnering
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the local budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with regional targets and business strategyCommercial Support: Work closely with the commercial team to review, challenge, and validate forecasts, pricing strategies, and customer profitabilityOperational Partnership: Collaborate with the operations team to track and validate savings initiatives, cost reductions, and process improvementsBusiness Case Development: Build and review financial business cases for investments, ensuring sound financial analysis and alignment with corporate requirementsReporting & Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports and performance analysis to senior management, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunitiesCorporate Reporting: Manage submissions to corporate (via HFM), ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reportingDecision Support: Provide proactive financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-makingControlling & Compliance
Financial Control: Ensure strong local financial controls are maintained, working closely with the Controller Manager in the Shared Service CenterCompliance & VAT: Support local statutory and tax compliance, including VAT filings, working with external advisors where necessaryGovernment Relations: Act as the primary contact for conversations with local government institutions on finance related mattersReconciliations & Accuracy: Support review and reconciliation processes to ensure accurate local financial data aligns with corporate reportingAudit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysisQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent education and years of experience required
Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting with P&L or related experience with 2 years prior supervisory or management experience
Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/ or IFRS. Knowledge of MS Dynamics
Experience in specialty finance functions such as reporting, compliance and procurement
Has well-developed project management skills
Demonstrated capability in: adaptability, critical thinking, decision making, taking and giving feedback, and influencing others
Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
Ability to work well under pressure, juggling multiple initiatives. Skilled in multitasking, organizing and prioritizing work
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must
