Position Overview:

Essential Functions:  

Perform commercial finance activities including pricing activities, periodic financial analysis and reporting for customer profitability and margin trends Prepare of the annual budget and monthly forecast; Drive forecast ownership with functional leaders and provide reporting and analysis for spending variances. Assist in providing consultation, interpretation, and education of financial and operational matters to various department leaders used to drive business decisionsWork with management team to drive improvement through revenue/cost/expense variance analysis including purchase price variance, material usage variance, labor inefficiencies, and optimal overhead scalingAssist in the preparation of monthly reporting requirements Build reports and analyses using Oracle EPM, Power BI or local ERP systems as neededProvide financial analysis on operational results, working capital improvements, cost reductions, Lean Six Sigma initiativesOversee the capital investment process to establish financial justification for projects and ensure alignment with strategic direction of the businessAssist with internal and external audits Ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as required

Required Qualifications:  

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing entityExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to be clear and concise to convey messages appropriate to finance and non-finance people alike  Good working knowledge of accounting concepts, costing techniques, principles and US GAAP Pragmatic approach to problem solving with a strong analytical background Self-starter who is highly organized, comfortable in an environment with tight deadlines and multiple tasks with attention to detail  Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications: 

CPA preferredPublic accounting experience a plus Oracle EPM and Power BI system experience preferred 

Working Conditions:

Domestic travel 2-3 time per yearHybrid role with 3 days a week onsite requirement

The anticipated pay range for this position is $85,800 - $138,200 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
