FP&A Manager

As an FP&A Manager supporting the Finance Surgical team, you will be responsible for leading a team in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and report preparation. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that guide business decisions, manage projects, and enhance operational efficiency.   

In this role, a typical day will include:

Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-makingConduct analysis of internal financial data to identify trends and key business driversDevelop and maintain financial models to assess the potential impact of various business scenarios and strategic initiativesProvide financial insights to business leaders on cost management, pricing strategies, and competitive landscapeCollaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely month-end close, accruals, and reservesMonitor external economic conditions and assess their potential impact on business operationsAssist in the development of key financial metrics and performance indicators to track business unit performance and support the development of financial strategies and recommendations to improve profitability and reduce financial risk

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or related.Advanced level of English3-5 years’ experience in finance or similar areas.Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and financial process management.
