FP&A Manager, MMC International, FTC

We are seeking a talented individual to join our FP&A team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

FP&A Manager – MMC International, 12 month FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manager within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for MMC International. 

What can you expect?

International is a $9bn revenue business covering Marsh and Mercer across six regions - UK, Europe, IMEA, Latin America & Caribbean, Asia and Pacific. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the financial reporting and strategic analysis that will influence Senior Leadership’s decision making.Reporting to the MMC International Head of FP&A, the FP&A Manager will provide financial support to International Executive Members and Corporate Stakeholders.The role will be responsible for critically challenging financial data and developing value adding KPIs to provide insights to our Senior Leaders and drive International’s priorities.You will assist on ‘ad hoc’ projects and time sensitive deliverables.

We will count on you to:

Assist in the consolidation and analysis of monthly results and quarterly rolling forecast for InternationalProvide inputs into presentations which are shared with the MMC International CEO and CFO, as well as the MMC Corporate teamReview of Revenue KPIs to provide value adding insights and benchmarks for the regional leadership teamsWorking with the regions to identify opportunities within expense management and monitoring spend versus budget and guardrailsSupport the regions around the annual budget cycle – this includes initial target setting and participating in the formal presentation to MMC CorporateProviding Finance presentational materials for the monthly MMC International Executive Meetings and CEO callsAd Hoc projects – e.g. building financial models and analysis to support both Global and International strategic initiativesFire Drills – Given the fast paced environment across MMC, support on time sensitive deliverables and top down analysis is a day to day part of the role

What you need to have: 

Previous experience within FP&A with excellent analytical skillsKeen business acumen and an eagerness to understand the drivers of the businessAdvanced PowerPoint skills with experience of creating and delivering impactful presentationsAdvanced Excel skills (including formulas, pivots & macros) with experience of analysing and modelling using large quantities of dataExcellent stakeholder management skills, with effective communication and presentation skillsExcellent numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in a fast paced environmentAbility to demonstrate lateral thinking to solve problems and manage projectsThe ability to think creatively; to be curious and self-motivated
