FP&A Director of Services & Financial Services,

As an FP&A Director of Services & Financial Services, you’ll lead a team of twelve employees delivering finance support for In-Home Services, In-Store Services, Geek Squad City, Memberships, Warranty and Financial Services. You will play a critical part in shaping the financial strategy and performance of these dynamic and evolving business areas. You will be expected to drive insights that influence decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic initiatives. In addition to strong technical and analytical skills, success in this role requires exceptional leadership, the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What will you doPartner with business leaders to develop and execute the Services and Financial Services strategies.Lead performance management, including both business and finance monthly business reviews.Serve as the liaison between business and investor relations, helping simplify messaging around business performance and future expectations.Create and align with Enterprise FP&A on business specific, long-range, financial expectations.Leverage relationships to influence finance, business peers, and senior leadership on operational and strategic issues.Effectively communicate complex concepts and issues to leadership.Provide leadership coaching and development to direct and indirect reports to enhance skills, knowledge and experience. Basic Qualifications7 years of experience in Finance, Business or other related field4 years of people leadership experience in the areas of FinanceDemonstrated ability to think critically and strategically, build consensus, advocate, anticipate problems and solutions, and work with business partnersPreferred QualificationsMBA, CPA, other certification, or advanced degreeExperience in Services, Financial Services, Membership, Warranty or related fieldsDemonstrated ability to manage through change Advanced communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and facilitation) What’s in it for you
