FP&A ANALYST II
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – WORLD HEADQUARTERS
As a member of the E-Systems Financial Planning and Analysis team, the Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will be responsible for assisting in detailed analytics, financial modeling, and consolidation of key financial metrics.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Consolidation of divisional/business unit financials Responsible for financial reporting including analyzing key information for internal and external users Assist and monitor in the monthly close, forecast, budget, long-range planning processes Analyze and review monthly financial data to ensure the close and forecast process was completed properly Review historical monthly income statements and balance sheets to accurately forecast future balances Understand and complete forecast to forecast and/or forecast to actual variance analytics Analyze financial data to assist in the preparation of financial deliverables to key members of leadership Work with several segments / customer groups / departments in developing forecast targets Work closely with regional leads to ensure a timely close process and accurate forecasts Implement and maintain proper internal controls and procedures Research and resolve accounting issues with financial and operating departments Respond and assist various segments / customer groups / departments in financial inquiries Develop strong relationships with other departments and divisions to effectively complete tasks Will work closely with other departments including Treasury, Sales/Program management, and Engineering Suggest business process improvements as necessary Ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience within the automotive industry Proficient understanding of Microsoft products primarily Excel, Word, and Power Point Self-motivated individual with a high level of organization and time management when dealing with multiple competing priorities Strong executive presentation skills
Bonus if you Have:
Experience with HFM / Hyperion Planning / Smartview Experience in the Automotive Industry
