FP&A Analyst
Description We are looking for an experienced FP& A Analyst to join our team in Vacaville, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and optimize operational efficiency. Responsibilities: • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. • Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes, including monthly, semi-annual, and annual cycles. • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and identify improvement opportunities. • Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to detect trends and variances. • Assist in the creation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans, performing in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making. • Identify cost optimization opportunities and propose strategies to enhance operational efficiency. • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to build complex cost models and create margin guardrails. • Act as a liaison between Finance and other departments, translating financial data into actionable insights. • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and contribute to special projects as needed. • Participate in Lean Six Sigma projects to drive cost reductions and process improvements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP& A, financial analysis, or corporate finance, ideally within the food and beverage or consumer-packaged goods industry. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial planning software. • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders. • Experience in cross-functional business partnering to align financial goals with operational strategies. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. • Knowledge of the dried fruit industry or broader food and beverage sector is a plus.
